I would like to thank those who have made an indelible impact on my life. Thank you for being my teachers, coaches, mentors, and friends who propel me to excel in my future endeavors. I truly appreciate every experience and memory I share with all of you. Thank you for teaching me to embrace life with an unwavering energy and a positive spirit.

I would like to begin by thanking my teachers who encourage me to grow in my academic pursuits. I would especially like to thank my English teachers, Mrs. King, Ms. Kanawi, Mrs. Ricken, and Mrs. Casady. Mrs. King and Ms. Kanawi, thank you for sparking my enthusiasm for writing. You both have helped me grow over the past four years as caring and involved teachers and National Honor Society Advisors. Mrs. Ricken and Mrs. Casady, thank you for further solidifying my passion for English and for helping me find my voice. Both of you have helped me expand my communication skills so that I now have the courage to publicly speak. I would like to acknowledge Mrs. Husband who brought me to love history by making it "come alive" through her numerous stories. I want to extend my gratitude to Mr. Maxey for bringing excitement to my education in math. I also wish to thank all my IB teachers who I feel have helped me embrace each individual subject in a more meaningful way so that I may be an active lifelong learner, critical thinker, and global citizen.

I would also like to extend my appreciation to two women who have helped shape my spirit, Laraine and Momma Kane. Laraine, you have taught me to live a wholesome life of service and compassion. You helped me realize the importance of having spontaneity in life while embracing the blessings God has given me. Momma Kane, thank you for being such a genuine and caring person. I truly appreciate that you help me live my faith and come closer to God as my Confirmation sponsor. Thank you both for being such inspiring role models to me.

Another person who has greatly impacted my life is my cheer coach, Coach Terri. Throughout the past four years, you have cared for all of us cheerleaders as if we were your daughters. You helped me find my passion for cheerleading and bringing spirit to the community. Thank you for pushing me to try new skills in cheer and for being so supportive even outside of cheer.

To my parents and grandparents: Mom and Dad, thank you for being such supportive parents who encourage me in everything I do. Through all my worries and fears, you have helped me push through so I may achieve my ultimate dreams. Thank you for being my selfless heroes. Nana and Pop, thank you for supporting me so I may embrace opportunities to have fun. Grandma Judy, thank you for being such a loving and selfless person who I can always depend on. Thank you all for making sacrifices so I can live such a blessed life. I’ll always be your baby girl.

Lastly, I want to thank my younger siblings, Makenna and Jake. You two inspire me through your joy and enthusiasm for life. Thank you for never failing to make me laugh or smile and for showing me that it’s okay to take it easy every once in awhile. I’m going to miss our daily car rides, discussions, and crazy antics while I’m at college.

Thank you to everyone who has entered into my life. I love all of you, and I will live your legacies so I may inspire others in the way you have inspired me.
